ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

We take our environmental responsibilities extremely seriously, believing that by doing our best to recycle, re-use and renovate, we are making a substantial contribution to decreasing environmental problems. Our four step sustainability plan ensures each stage of our developments are as green as possible.

1. Design

Every Barry Howard Home is sympathetically designed with its local surrounding in mind, so you won’t find a modern tower block in the middle of a sleepy village! We do our best to develop each home to be in keeping with current buildings in the area.

2. Land

Where possible, we develop on brown field sites that have been built on in the past. Quite often this means either renovating old buildings into gorgeous new homes, or demolishing them and starting from new. Either way, we use a minimal amount of countryside and keep green fields as they should be - green.

3. Materials

Barry Howard Homes always try to responsibly source building and construction materials where possible. We aim to use materials which can be easily replaced, and not use up the earth’s fossil fuels and unsustainable supplies.

4. Waste

Waste produced from construction of our dream homes is ecologically and responsibly disposed of and we are dedicated to minimising the amount of waste produced.

The Level 5 Cold Ashby Development
